Elizabeth Keehner

Elizabeth’s PhD is in developing the tools and knowledge to restore intertidal seagrass species Zostera muelleri and Heterozostera nigricaulis in Western Port Bay, Victoria. Specifically, Elizabeth is working in a land-based nursery to germinate and grow healthy seagrass seedlings. By germinating and growing the seedlings in the nursery and later planting and observing the seedlings in the field, Elizabeth aims to determine the best conditions for successful seagrass growth and restoration in Victoria, Australia.
